It’s only the third Thieving Thursday of the year, and I nearly missed it. I’d like to thank the flu — not mine, but everyone else in my household’s – for giving me an easy excuse to explain my forgetfulness.
The truth is, without the flu lurking in every corner of our house, I might have forgotten to post today anyway. Forgetting appointments has become a part of my M.O. of late. Have you ever missed a meeting that you had called? Yeah, well, I’m not proud of it, but it’s happened to me.
I’d like to be able to share a memory loss resource today, but instead, and much more tasty, is a coffee-infused flank steak recipe from Cooking on the Weekends, a blog by Valentina Wein. I’m hoping a little more caffeine will do the trick for me. Since I’m trying to be a wee bit more vegan these days, I’m hoping it works with tofu, too.

Again, I have no excuses today. Two are now 100% (except for the agony of too much homework!) and the 3rd is back and operating at 95% capacity. I’m still healthy, so fingers crossed!
