With our children in the able hands of their grandparents, Christopher and I headed out of town. Away. It really didn’t matter where. We were looking for a weekend to relax and enjoy quality time together.
We’d never been to Paso Robles (which I had been pronouncing beautifully in my fine Spanish accent, until I heard a local refer to it as, duh, Pass Rohbuls. Being from “Loss Anjealous” I really should have known better.)
“Pass” is known for its wine, so we jumped in and boozed it up, er, endeavored to learn something about grapes.
Bottom line: A great time was had by all.
