This petite memoir is about love — between parents and children, husband and wife, grandparents and grandchildren. Between dancers and dance.
Written over the three years following the passing of my grandmother Lilli Diamond, a beautiful dancer, fashion muse, and optimist extraordinaire, it is fitting that the memoir came to completion during a time of isolation, when the pandemic took away our cherished gatherings. Above all else, I missed my dance class, a place where I felt my grandmother’s presence vividly.
The e-book was first published on her birthday, my gift from the heart to her, and now to you. A physical book is in the works, so stay tuned.
For now, dance with me.
